DIN, the German Institute for Standardization, is a registered association, founded in 1917. Its head office is in Berlin. Since 1975 it has been recognized by the German government as the national standards body and represents German interests at international and European level.

NormCD DVD and ONLINE

Standards by subject groups on subscription. All standards in a subject group, available in compact form on DVD updated monthly. DIN Standards are classified info 21 subject groups. All DIN Standards (except DIN VDE Standards) are available as image files on DVD or ONLINE, so that exact reproduction of the original texts is ensured. Monthly updates make sure the data is always accurate

NEW is NormCD section 28: DIN English Complete, the same sections for DIN English are available as they are for DIN German standards.

The subject groups are based on the ICS classification, a system developed and maintained by ISO specifically for standards and normative documents. It is used to structure the data in catalogues and databases. Access to the documents is via PERINORM DVD or ONLINE - the European standards information database on DVD. Search fields include title, document number, document type, ICS classification, and date of publication.

For full image access to NormCD on DVD or NormCD online a subscription to PERINORM Online or on DVD is necessary.

A&I Subscription Services A&I subscription service on CD.

 Take out a subscription for a customized standards portfolio. Whether you are a one-man company, SME or large corporation, almost every organization has its own particular range of standards needs to be observed, maintained and updated.

Individual standards service.

We will supply you your individual standards portfolio (max. 1000 documents) on a CD and update it for you monthly.

Comfortable search function.

In your customized standards portfolio you can retrieve any document you need (in TIFF format) via its document number, publication date, and status, ICS or subject group or with the aid of keywords. Search terms can be linked in all fields using logical operators (AND, OR and NOT).

You can display the documents or selected parts of the documents on your monitor and print them out. If you have already implemented your own search and management software for document files, we can supply the TIFF and PDF files without the software.
